LONDON: Three hooded people poured oil on four ambulances parked in front of Machzike Hadath synagogue and set them ablaze overnight (23rd March, 2026).
According to Fire Brigade no injuries were reported. However, since a number of gas canisters onboard Hatzola Northwest ambulances exploded due to heat, windows of nearby apartment block shattered.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called the crime “a deeply shocking anti-Semitic arson attack”. Taking to the X he stated: “The anti-Semitic arson attack in Golders Green is horrifying. I’ve been in touch with Jewish community leaders this morning and will continue to do so throughout the day. An attack on our Jewish community is an attack on us all. We will fight the poison that is anti-Semitism”.
“This is a deeply shocking anti-Semitic arson attack. My thoughts are with the Jewish community who are waking up this morning to this horrific news. Antisemitism has no place in our society. Anyone with any information must come forward to the police,” PM maintained.

An Iran-aligned militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack. The same group had been involved in other such attacks in Belgium, Greece and Holland.
Naz Shah MP took to the X to state: “The arson attack on four ambulances from the Jewish volunteer service Hatzola in Golders Green is absolutely horrific. Collectively we must stand against the scourge of Antisemitism wherever it is found and ensure the perpetrators are handed the full force of the law.“

That was an antisemitic attack against members of Jewish community who converged there to observe the religious ceremony of lighting candle on the 1st day of Hanukkah. People had posted a number of videos showing Sajid Akram, using his half-a-dozen licensed heavy guns, along with his son Naveed to kill Jews.
In other clip former Syrian policeman, Ahmed-al-Ahmed, who presently owns a fruit-stall at Bondi Beach, is seen pouncing on a gunman and snatching his weapon. He was shot repeatedly by the other gunman, and was hospitalised.
