4 soldiers martyred in North Waziristan

RAWALPINDI: Four Pak Army sepoys taking part in an IBO in the North Waziristan’s Boya area today, were martyred when the militants opened fire. 

According to details the operation was carried out in Vezhda Sar, 8km South West of Boya, Miranshah, North Wazirstan District.

ISPR took to the Twitter to inform: “Sanitisation force conducted operation against terrorists’ hideout in Vezhda Sar this morning. As soon as the troops cordoned off the area, terrorists opened fire. All dug out terrorists were shot down by security forces”. 

The martyred sepoys were  identified as Muhammad Ismail Khan, Muhammad Shahbaz Yasin, Raja Waheed Ahmed and Muhammad Rizwan Khan.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan expressed grief and sorrow over the death of security personnel in operation against militants in North Waziristan.

The chief minister prayed to the Almighty to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.

He also praised security forces for their unmatched sacrifices for their motherland and said that their services for the country would always be remembered. He said the nation support and stands beside Pak Army in their fight against insurgency. | YouTube Channel
