ISLAMABAD: Pundits insinuate that former military dictator’s return from London was well choreographed. They are sure that no civil force in Pakistan has the guts to put an ex-army general in harm’s way.
Yet again in case of Lal Masjid Cleric Abdul Rashid Ghazi’s ‘murder’ (during 2007 crackdown) a court here has issued a ‘non-bailable warrant’ for Pervez Musharraf.
Disallowing plea seeking permanent exemption from appearing in the case, concerned authorities have been asked by the court to produce 72-year-old Musharraf before it on March 16.
Musharraf has not appeared before court in the 55 hearings so far despite issuance of three such non-bailable arrest warrants!
