6.2 magnitude Tremors Felt in Delhi

NEW DELHI: Strong tremors (with epicenter in Nepal*) were felt here and the adjoining territories on Tuesday (3rd of October, 2023) at 2.51 local time (11.51 GMT).

It may be recalled that a day earlier (on Monday, 2nd of October, 2023) 5.2 magnitude earthquake shook not only the north of India but also Dhaka.

Despite two quakes no loss of life or damage to property had been reported.

However, according to (Indian) National Center for Seismology eleven Nepalese got injured when two tremors shook western Nepal on Tuesday (3rd of October, 2023).

Homes were damaged and a landslide blocked a busy artery.
