7th Muharram procession: 5 electrocuted as Alum touched electric wires

KARACHI: Five young azadaars got electrocuted in the Bhittaiabad area of  Gulistan-e-Jauhar here today  and other five got severely injured when the Alum they were preparing for the 7th Muharram procession accidentally touched the electricity wires overhead. 

The dead and injured (all aged between 15 to 20) were initially taken to a nearby medical facility. Later the bodies, still unidentified, were taken to Jinnah Hospital.

K-Electric in its message expressed grief over the accident.
