KARACHI: The seventh population and housing (first-ever digital) census commenced on Wednesday (1st of March, 2023).

Citizens have been asked to provide accurate information to the personnel carrying out the census.

In Karachi the Commissioner commenced the population and housing census by marking his office.

However, the very first day personnel faced technical problem in the form of faulty tablets and security problem in the form of street criminals who snatched their mobiles and money.

Then there are pockets in Karachi where personnel refused to enter without armed guards.
