ISLAMABAD: While condemning the 9/May vandalism targeting the symbols of state, at a Presser held here on Tuesday (23rd of May, 2023), PTI’s former federal minister for human rights Shireen Mazari said that she was shunning PTI and active politics.

Maintaining that mother and children were now her priorities, Shireen Mazari said that during the last 12 days of detention and abduction her health was badly affected while her daughter (lawyer Imaan Zainab Mazari-Hazir) went through an ordeal.

Meanwhile, Shireen Mazari has submitted an affidavit to IHC pledging that she would steer clear though all violent activities.

It may be recalled that former SVP of PTI, (who got her edification from Columbia University, London School of Economics), had been taken into custody 4 times in the last 12 days after the 9 May riots.
