G.M. Jamali is a Karachi-based journalist for quarter of a century. He is immediate past-president of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) that is a full member affiliate of International Federation of Journalists (that happens to have 600,000 members in 150 countries).
He has worked for several leading national and local language newspapers and news channels. Presently, he is associated with KTN as Director Current Affairs and hosts his own show on digital media. As a unionist he has successfully led numerous campaigns for the rights of Media Workers and the Freedom of Speech. He has recently been elected Member at Large of the FAPaJ (IFJ) that enables him to work for the journalists of 42 countries.
