Imran Khan says he is ready to talk to Maulana Fazl-ul-Rehman

ISLAMABAD: Sources privy to Newspaksitan.tv has revealed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has agreed to talk to Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman in order to convince him to stop his scheduled march towards the Capital.

According to sources Prime Minister Imran Khan has contacted Religious affairs Minister Noor-ul-Haq Qadri via telephoned and tasked him with contacting the JUI-F leadership and figuring a plan out to deal with protesters. PM who sought details of the Azadi March and Dharna also recommendations to contain the matter.

However, Minister of religious affairs has said that he was not aware of any such endeavor. Meanwhile, the opposition seems to have yet not decided whether or not to support the Azadi March and Dharna. 

Shehbaz Sharif has said that the final decision would be taken by Nawaz Sharif. Bilawal Bhutto initially said that only moral support of PPP-P was with Maulana. Later he said that his party only supported the March and not the Dharna.

Nawaz Sharif says he supports Maulana Fazl’s Azadi March

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that he was supporting Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F)’s anti-government Azadi March.

In a letter written to the JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman from jail, Sharif expressed that the entire leadership and workers of the PML-N are with him in his ‘Azadi March’ endeavor.

Nawaz wrote that he knew that the incumbent Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government was rigged and it failed to boost economy of the country.It should be sent packing before it ruined the country.

“PML-N offers complete support to your Azadi March. Go ahead and launch protests against this failed government. We will keep supporting you till this government departs,” Nawaz wrote to Maulana.

PPP supports JUI-F’s Azadi March: Bilawal Bhutto

Earlier yesterday, Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had announced that his party was completely supporting Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s ant-government Azadi March.

Addressing a press conference after chairing party’s core committee meeting, the PPP chief complained of not even knowing where Fazlur Rehman’s protest would be held.

“We are not yet aware of the venue of Maulana’s Azadi March, however, after consulting with Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, we announce complete support for the JUI-F,” he said.

Bilawal also criticized the incumbent government over failed economic policies and said that the incompetent PTI government has ruined the country’s economy and we have been continuously slipping down on the world index on economy.
