Shehryar Afridi tests positive for coronavirus

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Saffron Shehryar Afridi has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Afridi, who also holds the portfolio of the minister of state for Narcotics Control, took to Twitter and announced the news on Saturday.

“I have tested positive of #COVID19 & have isolated myself at home as per advice by medics.
I need prayers & blessings. May Allah almighty help save all my countrymen from the pandemic under my PM @ImranKhanPTI,” Afridi wrote in a Twitter post.
