PSL: Kings slain Gladiators in the opening match

KARACHI: National Stadium here was the venue where  Karachiites witnessed the Kings slain Quetta Gladiators by seven wickets in the opening match of the VIth edition of PSL today (20th Feb).

Gladiators had given a target of 122 runs to Kings, who opted to field after winning the toss. However, assisted by Joe Clarks’ 46 runs off 23 deliveries, Kings managed to reach the target conveniently. Joe Clarke was sent back to pavilion in the sixth over.

PSL 6th Ed.

According to details, the Kings demolished  Gladiators in 19.2 overs. Kings sent Sarfaraz and Tom back to the pavilion first. The scalp of Saim Ayub was taken in the eighth over. Chris Gayle, whose bat yielded 39 runs, was dismissed in the  the ninth over.
