Flag-Hoisting Ceremony at Fed Urdu Uni (on 14th Aug)

KARACHI: Acting Vice Chancellor of Federal Urdu University, Professor Dr. Muhammad Ziauddin, while addressing the teachers, non-teaching staff and students on the occasion of Pakistan’s 76th Independence Day and flag hoisting ceremony, stressed on the importance of patriotism.

He held: “Pakistan is our identity and we will have to strive to make its name shine all over the world.”

The Acting VC held that on 14th of August Pakistani nation was expressing solidarity with its Kashmiri brothers.

“Pakistan came into existence after great sacrifices and today we wish the entire nation a very Happy 76th Independence Day.”

Acting Registrar Dr. Mahjabeen, addressing the ladies and gentlemen in the audience, congratulated the people of Pakistan while focusing on the importance of striving for the country’s development.

On this occasion, special prayers were offered and the students presented tableaux.

Conspicuous among others there were Prof. Dr. Masood Mashkoor, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Saram, Treasurer Syed Iqbal Hussain Naqvi, Director of Finance Najam-ul-Arfeen, Director of Examinations Dr. Rizwana Jabeen, President of Non-Teaching Association Muhammad Adnan Akhtar, Secretary Syed Rehan Ali, Afzal Ahmed, Asif Rafiq, Riaz Memon, Ibrahim Abbasi, Mohammad Sadiq and Qari Mohammad Iqbal.
