KARACHI: When Turab Zaidi emerged from an ATM near Gulshan(-e-Iqbal) Chowrangi after drawing Rs. 6000/- he was mugged and fatally shot in the head on the 3rd day of Eid-ul-Fitr (12th April, 2024).
Since 1st day of January, 2024 the petty street criminals have shot 59 karachiites dead. The last one to be slain was Turab Zaidi, the only son of his parents and father of three children (the youngest only 6 months old).
Such trigger-happy petty street criminals are inevitably result of a oppressed society where the wealth is usurped by few thousands sans trickling down to the citoyens of the country.
