ISLAMABAD: KSA has been assured of full facilitation for its investment in Pakistan by Pakistani FM.
Addressing a meeting of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) here on Tuesday (16th April, 2024) with Saudi delegation led by FM Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud, FM Ishaq Dar said Saudi engagements and investments would be handled with utmost respect and institutionalized commitment from Pakistani side ensuring that together the two nations would achieve remarkable success.
FM said the bonds between the two fraternal countries are set to strengthen further through their collaborative efforts.
He noted that investment in Pakistan was not only placement of capital but it will also be instrumental towards forging a partnership that promises mutual prosperity and progress.
He said the Saudi investments also stand to make a sterling contribution to regional peace and stability.
Highlighting the potential of investments in diverse sectors including agriculture, energy and mining, he said the goal was to transform Pakistan into a hub of economic activity and innovation, creating an attractive environment for global investors especially the Saudi brothers.
Dar said SIFC was to ensure the investment processes were swift and mutually beneficial, embodying Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating foreign direct investment in the country.
