CAESAREA: According to Israeli Police and Shin Bet (Internal Security Agency), a month after Hezbollah‘s drone attack, two flares landed in the courtyard outside the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence here on Saturday (17th November, 2024) when the premier and his family were not in.
President Isaac Herzog posted: “The incitement against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu crosses all boundaries”. Defense Minister Israel Katz taking to the X stated: “It is not possible for the Prime Minister of Israel, who is threatened by Iran and its proxies who are trying to assassinate him, to be subject to the same threats from home.” Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir Tweeted: “Throwing a flash bomb into his house tonight is crossing another red line.”
In the month of October, 2024 a drone was launched towards the Netanyahu’s holiday house without causing any harm. No militant outfit has taken responsibility of the attack so far yet three suspects have been arrested overnight after the attack. Those nabbed would be interrogated by a joint investigation team comprising Police and the Internal Security Agency. Investigators reckon the attack a serious incident.
