MOSCOW: General Igor Kirillov, who was accused by the West of overseeing the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine, has been assassinated by means of a bomb fixed on a motorcycle here on Tuesday (17th Dec 2024).

When general Igor Kirallov left the Moscow building he lived in, the blast killed him and his aide. He was overseeing the Russia’s Timoshenko Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Academy before he was posted in 2017 as the head of Russian army’s Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops.
