TEHRAN: Iran’s mission to UN on Sunday (9th March, 2025), took to the X to state: “If the objective of negotiations is to address concerns vis-a-vis any potential militarisation of Iran’s nuclear program, such discussions may be subject to consideration.

“However, should the aim be the dismantlement of Iran’s peaceful nuclear programme to claim that what Obama failed to achieve has now been accomplished, such negotiations will never take place.”
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, while responding to US President Donald Trump’s letter inviting him to talk about a nuclear deal, said on Saturday (8th March, 2025) that Tehran will not be bullied into negotiations.
Khamenei pointed out that Trump’s offer was not to resolve issues , but to impose their own expectations: “The insistence of some bully governments on negotiations is not to resolve issues, but to dominate and impose their own expectations.”
US President Donald Trump had sent a correspondence to the Irani Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Thursday (6th March, 2025) inviting him to come to the negotiating table to ponder over a nuclear deal.
According to Donald Trump he conveyed his message for parlays asserting that it would be a lot better for Iran. He insinuated that in case Iran refused to talk US would have to act in order to bar it from having nukes.
