ISLAMABAD: Shehzad Akbar, the former special assistant to PM IK on accountability, has been identified as the master mind in the ongoing £190M reference case.
According to details Shehzad caused financial losses to the ex-chequer by diverting £190M into the Bahria Town Account while it was part of a civil settlement with the NCA and was meant to be used for the people of Pakistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that exactly one year ago (on 11th July, 2024) former KP CM Pervez Khattak testified before an accountability court against PTI Founder Imran Khan in £190m corruption case.
Khattak was a member of IK’s cabinet that had approved a confidential deed to transfer money, seized by the UK, to Bahria Town owner Malik Riaz.
Earlier IK’s secretary Azam Khan too testified against him in cipher case while Aun Chaudhry testified against IK in Iddat case.
