KARACHI: NDMA has informed on Saturday (19th July, 2025) that the current Monsoon season has killed 200 people (including 100 children) so far across Pakistan.
According to details 123 people died in the province of Punjab, 40 in KP, 21 in Sindh, 16 in Balochistan, one each in Islamabad and Kashmir. 118 people lost their lives when their humble abode fell onto them, 30 expired due to flash floods. Other causes of death were drowning, lightning, electrocution and landslides. Moreover, 560 people also got wounded due to various accidents associated with torrential downpour.
