JERUSALEM: Two gunmen (disguised as voyagers) killed six and injured many others (six gravely) at a busy bus stop before being gunned down by a cop and a civilian here on Monday (8th Sept, 2025) morning (10.15am local time).
Hamas, that did not claim the responsibility, told that the attack was carried out by two Palestinians: “We affirm that this operation is a natural response to the crimes of the occupation and the genocide it is waging against our people.” Palestinian Authority’s Mahmoud Abbas denounced “all forms of violence and terrorism, regardless of their source”.
Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to catch everyone who helped the attackers. Talking to the Media in Hebrew he informed that the authorities were pursuing and surrounding the villages where the attackers came from. German FM Johann Wadephul, expressing his deep shock, wished the wounded speedy recovery.
UAE, condemning the killings, held it permanently rejected all forms of violence. French President Emmanuel Macron took to the X to maintain: “The spiral of violence must come to an end. Only a political solution will bring back peace and stability for all in the region.”
