Trump disagrees with countries recognising Palestine as a state

LONDON: US President Donald Trump, during his 2nd state visit of UK, has told the reporters at a joint Presser with UK PM Keir Starmer, held here on Thursday (18th Sept 2025) that he disagreed with countries recognising Palestine as a state.

“We absolutely agree on the need for peace and a road map, because the situation in Gaza is intolerable,” PM Starmer said. Harboring on the subject of recognising Palestine as a state, Donald Trump said: “I have a disagreement with the Prime Minister on that score, one of our few disagreements, actually.”

Donald Trump, the 79-year-old Republican President of the United States, visited UK but due to his non-popularity all events took place sans citoyens.

Meanwhile, thousands of anti-Trump protesters took to the streets of London manifesting their dislike for the visiting politician.

Trump happens to be the only American President who was invited twice by the United Kingdom. In 2019 he was received by Queen Elizabeth II.
