TEHRAN: Hours ahead of the UN sanctions, Iran has proclaimed on Friday (26th September, 2025) that entities Hormoz and Rosatom has signed a deal with Moscow (worth $25 billion) to build four nuclear power plants in Sirik (Hormozgan province).
Iran, that happens to harbour only one operational nuclear power plant in Bushehr having a capacity of 1000 megawatts. The Russian built four nuclear power plants will produce over 5000 megawatts once completed.
