GAZA: Hamas leadership, by means of phone calls and text messages, has recalled 7,000 fighters here Saturday (11th October, 2025) and appointed 5 new governors from military background.
The deployed units have been instructed by Hamas leadership to report about the state of affairs within a day: “We declare a general mobilisation in response to the call of national and religious duty, to cleanse Gaza of outlaws and collaborators with Israel. You must report within 24 hours to your designated locations using your official codes.”
It is pertinent to mention here that IDF, that had withdrawn forces ceding territory as part of ceasefire, still retains fifty-three percent of Gaza. Armed members of Hamas are seen in civilian clothes as well as blue attire of Gaza Police in the areas evacuated by Israeli servicemen. Savants believe this could jeopardise the IInd phase of Gaza Peace Plan.

On 9th Oct, President Donald Trump has taken to the Social Media platform Truth Social to announce that Hamas and Israel both have agreed to the 1st phase of Gaza Peace Plan proposed by him.
Trump stated: “I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed off on the first Phase of our Peace Plan. This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace.
“All Parties will be treated fairly! This is a GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America, and we thank the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, who worked with us to make this Historic and Unprecedented Event happen. BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS!“
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu took to the X to state: “With the approval of the first phase of the plan, all our hostages will be brought home. This is a diplomatic success and a national and moral victory for the State of Israel. From the beginning, I made it clear: we will not rest until all our hostages return and all our goals are achieved.
“Through steadfast resolve, powerful military action, and the great efforts of our great friend and ally President Trump, we have reached this critical turning point. I thank President Trump for his leadership, his partnership, and his unwavering commitment to the safety of Israel and the freedom of our hostages.“
Hamas stated: “We highly appreciate the efforts of our brothers and mediators in Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey, and we also value the efforts of US President Donald Trump aimed at ending the war completely and achieving a full withdrawal of the occupation from the Gaza Strip.”
