KP/BALOCHISTAN: Ten militants have been neutralised during two IBOs carried out by security forces in Kalat and Dera Ismail Khan on 24th Dec, 2025.
One IBO was conducted in D.I. Khan’s Kulachi area. During the exchange of fire two terrorists were killed including ring-leader Dilawar (most-wanted criminal with Rs. 4 million head-money). Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants who remained active in terrorist activities in the region.
During another IBO, conducted in Kalat (Balochistan), eight militants were neutralised by security forces during an exchange of fire. LEAs personnel recovered weapons, ammunition and explosives from the militants who were involved in innumerable terrorist activities against LEAs as well as civilians.
Militants incessantly carry out attacks against members of LEAs as well as civilians, particularly in the provinces of KPK and Balochistan.
Security forces too keep on retaliating in order to contain the menace of terrorism. Sajjad Khan, Regional DIG posted in Bannu, told journalists at a Presser held on Wed (24th Dec, 2025) that 135 terrorist attacks in the region during 2025 claimed lives of 27 cops.
