KARACHI: According to the modern astronomical calculations, this year (2026) the holy month of Ramzan will commence from Thursday (19th Feb), while the Muslims in Pakistan will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Friday (20th March).

On behalf of US diplomatic mission here, the Porte Parole of the Consulate General in the Metropolis, Tim Brauhn stated: “Ramazan Mubarak! As this blessed month begins, the U.S. Consulate Karachi team wishes you and your loved ones a peaceful and joyous Ramazan. May this time of compassion, reflection, and togetherness bring communities closer and fill your days with hope.“
