ISLAMABAD: Govt of Pakistan, on recommendations of OGRA, has dropped Petrol Bomb on fasting citoyens by augmenting the prices of petroleum products for the next week commencing from Saturday (7th March, 2026).

According to details, the prices of Petrol and Diesel have been increased by Rs. 55 per litre. Following the Petrol Bomb citizens will be able to buy a litre of MS for Rs. 321.17 and HSD for Rs. 335.86.

In order to facilitate its students, Vice Chancellor of Karachi University has shifted the morning classes online from Monday (9th March, 2026) till the end of Ramazan. It is pertinent to mention here that the evening classes were already online. NED, which has suspended classes because of the month of Ramazan, is all set to go online if the state-of-affairs does not change. Pakistan mostly depends on imported oil. Hence, it was hit due to ongoing Iran-USA war that translated into Strait of Hormuz’s closure.
