Iran US War

ermany says Iran-US War is not NATO’s War: German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius while rejecting American president’s demand apropos provision of vessels to escort oil-tankers, asked: “What does Donald Trump expect from a handful of European frigates in the Strait of Hormuz that the mighty US navy cannot manage alone? This is the question I find myself asking…There will be no military participation from Germany but Berlin is prepared to support diplomatic efforts to to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz…It is not our war. We did not start it. We want diplomatic solutions and a swift end, but sending more warships to the region will likely not contribute to that…Germany’s main responsibility is for the eastern flank and the Atlantic…we stay committed to that but we can’t be anywhere in the world.”

We know how incredibly important that is, but that’s not something that we’ve been asked or that we’re contributing to.” According to the Sunday (15th March) proclamation from the presidential office of S. Korea: “We will communicate closely with the US regarding this matter and make a decision after careful review.”
