Porte Parole of the Irani Foreign Ministry stated,… ‘while messages had been relayed through friendly countries, Tehran has not engaged in any direct or indirect talks with the US since the War commenced on 28th February, 2026’.
Taking to the Truth Social Trump stated: “The Iranian negotiators are very different and “strange.” They are “begging” us to make a deal, which they should be doing since they have been militarily obliterated, with zero chance of a comeback, and yet they publicly state that they are only “looking at our proposal.”
“WRONG!!! They better get serious soon, before it is too late, because once that happens, there is NO TURNING BACK, and it won’t be pretty! President DJT”.
Harbouring on the subject of support from allies, Donald Trump held: “NATO nations have done absolutely nothing to help with the lunatic nation, now militarily decimated, of Iran. The USA needs nothing from NATO, but ‘never forget’ this very important point in time! President Donald J. Trump.”
According to NYT, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) had been pushing US President Donald Trump to continue the conflict till Islamic regime is changed.
Iran’s 5 Conditions:
1) A complete halt to “aggression and assassinations” by the enemy;
2) The establishment of concrete mechanisms to ensure that the war is not reimposed on the Islamic Republic;
3) Guaranteed and clearly defined payment of war damages and reparations;
4) The conclusion of the war across all fronts and for all resistance groups involved throughout the region;
5) International recognition and guarantees regarding Iran’s sovereign right to exercise authority over the Strait of Hormuz.
American Conditions:
A 30-day ceasefire.
The dismantling of Iran’s nuclear facilities in Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow.
A permanent commitment from Iran to never develop nuclear weapons.
The handover of Iran’s stockpile of already enriched uranium to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and a commitment from Iran to allow the IAEA to monitor all elements of the country’s remaining nuclear infrastructure. Iran must also no longer enrich uranium within the country.
Limits on the range and number of Iran’s missiles.
Ending Iran’s support for regional proxies.
Ending Iranian strikes on regional energy facilities.
Reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
A removal of all sanctions imposed on Iran, alongside the ending of the UN mechanism that allows sanctions to be reimposed.
The provision of US support for electricity generation at Iran’s Bushehr civil nuclear plant.
Iran Rejects American Proposals:
While commenting on Trumpian talks, Iran’s Press TV posted on X Wednesday (25th March, 2026), citing an official, that Iran had rejected “American proposal aimed at ending the ongoing imposed war, insisting that any cessation of hostilities will only occur on Tehran’s own terms and timeline”.

Iranis have termed news apropos US-Iran talks as fake news. Nevertheless, thanks to Trump’s statement, the price of oil came down and bourse went bullish.
But Iran made it clear that no negotiations or discussions with the United States had taken place since 28th Feb, when the war commenced. According to Iran the Fake News was meant to manipulate the oil market.
While Iran and US are scheduled to negotiate cease fire in Islamabad, cynics go haywire observing deployment of 3000 marines in the Middle East at the same time. Israel continues to attack Iran. For instance, a Red Crescent footage shows rescue operation being carried out at an impact site on 25th March.
Then savants at the helm of affairs wonder, if a dialogue was going on, why Israel has eliminated Alireza Tangsiri, the Irani naval officer who was supposed to ensure the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz?
