Euronaval has announced on Tuesday (7th April, 2026) the return of the talks – a series of 6 webinars dedicated to the major challenges facing the naval defence sector – with the first episode already available online.
These sessions, hosted by Alix Valenti, an international defence and security expert, will bring
together sailors, politicians, researchers and industry representatives to debate the major changes taking place in the naval defence sector.
The 30th edition of EURONAVAL, the world’s leading defence and naval exhibition, will take place from the 3rd to 6th November 2026 at Paris Nord Villepinte, against an international backdrop marked by the resurgence of high-intensity conflicts and an increasingly uncertain climate.
The organisers are announcing the return of the EURONAVAL Talks, to be held on a monthly basis, in order to maintain an active link with the international community and to introduce the key topics that will be at the heart of the event. The war in Ukraine, the conflict in the Middle East and the blockage of strategic maritime routes: this return to high-intensity conflict is accompanied by an increasing hybridisation of maritime threats. Both on the high seas and in ports, potential vulnerabilities are multiplying and diversifying.
Which infrastructures are most at risk ? How can security be reconciled with operational continuity? How should we respond to cyber threats and the challenge of energy self-sufficiency ? The EURONAVAL Talks will provide key opportunities to understand, analyse and decipher these issues facing the global naval industry.
The programme will follow a progression in intensity, from hybrid threats to combat scenarios. A total of six Talks will be broadcast between April and October 2026. The first episode is available today, while the following ones will be released in the coming weeks, in short formats shared on LinkedIn and in full-length versions on EURONAVAL’s YouTube channel.
The 29th edition of EURONAVAL 2024 closed its doors on 7th Nov, 2024, concluding four days of a major international event marked by regular political and institutional visits, exclusive contract announcements and signings, and a rich program focused on the future of navies and naval innovations.

Highlights of the past four days:
On its opening day Sébastien Lecornu, French Minister of the Armed Forces, visited defence companies to discover the latest developments in armament programs.
Minister for the Sea, Fabrice Loher, and Jean-Louis Thieriot, Minister Delegate to the Minister for the Armed Forces were also conspicuous among others.
This major event was also attended by a number of members of parliament, including deputies from the French National Assembly’s Defense Committee, senators from the Foreign Affairs and Armed Forces Committee, and members of the European Parliament.
