PSX: Bears color the bourse red on week’s 4th trading day!

KARACHI: Benchmark KSE-100 Index closed on the week’s 4th trading day closing at 44,817 after suffering a loss of 247 points.

Rs. 9.94b worth of 245.7m shares changed hands today. Value of the shares of 182 companies plummeted, 154 augmented while two dozen entities remained stagnant.

Engineering and Commercial Banking Sectors led the trade today with 32m and 28.3m shares. Top five traders of the shares were: Dost Steels Ltd., 24.8m shares (+5.45pc); Bank of Punjab, 17.5m shares (+2.82pc); K-Electric Ltd., 13.9m shares (+3.20pc); Azgard Nine, 12.5m shares (+0.07pc); Fauji Foods Ltd., 9.8m shares (-3.73pc).
