Across-the-board accountability vital for economic revival: PTI Leader

ISLAMABAD: Leader Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) Kanwal Shozeb on Thursday said the incumbent government’s people friendly policies would bring economic revival and development on both micro and macro levels.

The Prime Minister Imran Khan is committed for the prosperity of poor section of the society, she said while speaking during a programme.

She said every citizen of Pakistan deserved a better life style and availability of basic necessities of life.

PTI led government realized its responsibilities to alleviate poverty and take concrete measures for welfare of people, she added.

Coordinated efforts are imperative for institutional reforms and economic revival in the country, she suggested.

Economist Dr. Murtaza Mughal added, corrupt people who damaged the institutions must be punished and they should appreciate government for taking concrete measures against corruption.

He said the government is taking bold decisions to alleviate poverty and eradicate corruption from the country.

It is happening for the first time that political bigwigs are being held accountable for their corruption.

The bold decisions taken by the government would bring long term benefits on overall economic condition of the country, he stated.

He further said prevailing situation in Pakistan could be better if the institutions continue to work with same dedication and commitment.
