Actor Qavi Khan passes away in Canada

KARACHI: Ahmad Shah, President Arts Council, has informed that celebrated actor Muhammad Qavi Khan died in Canada due to cardiac arrest.

Radio, Stage and TV artist Qavi Khan, who has also acted in 200 films, was a recipient of Pride of Performance (1980) and Sitara-e-Imtiaz (2012).

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while expressing his grief, noted that the deceased would always be remembered for his services to the field of art, drama and films.
