FRENCH CULTURAL CENTER holds Inter-Universities Photography Contest

KARACHI: A photography contest was organised by Alliance Française de Karachi (AFK – French Cultural Centre) in collaboration with NewsPakistan.TV. Out of some 500 entries by the students of media studies belonging to Pakistan’s numerous educational institutions, 27 snaps were short-listed and displayed at AFK’s main Art Gallery for a week.

On Thursday March 24th a jury headed by veteran photographer professor Rehmatullah Khan judged the award-winning photograph titled Vigor snapped by Bint-e-Hanif. A prize of Rs. 10,000 sponsored by NewsPakistan.TV was handed over to the winner by the AFK Acting Director Monsieur Eric Touzé. All the participants were also given certificate of appreciation.

M. M. Alam is a Pakistan-based working journalist since 1981.
