Airblue flight coming from Jeddah narrowly escapes accident

RAWALPINDI: Airblue flight PA 271 narrowly escaped an accident when its tyre burst while landing at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Friday.

Since the Airbus 320 plane was a bit tilted one of its engines touched the runway. However all the passengers escaped unhurt.

The flight originated in Jeddah and was carrying pilgrims and workers coming back to their homeland.
