Karachi receives heavy rain after hot weather

KARACHI: Most parts of the city witnessed rain with heavy winds and thunderstorm on Tuesday that turned weather pleasant and gave relief to the people of the metropolitan from scorching hot weather.

The MET Department had yesterday forecast rain in the city that will continue till the next day (Wednesday). Ares that received rain include Malir, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Sohrab Goth, Surjani Town, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Super Highway, Federal B Area, Liaquatabad, Garden, PIB Colony, Shahrah-e-Faisal and others.

Karachiites took to Twitter to express their feelings filled with joy after witnessing rain in the city. Some also shared videos of the rain in their area.
