Ali Haider Gillani recovered from Afghanistan




KABUL: Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani’s  son Ali Haider Gillani who was kidnapped on May 9, 2013 from Multan has been recovered on Tuesday following an operation conducted reportedly  by US-Afghan forces in Ghazni province of Afghanistan.

According to sources, Afghan Ambassador in Pakistan Dr. Omar Zakhilwal  phoned Gillani and informed him about his son’s recovery.  Pakistani and American Foreign Ministry sources have also confirmed the news.

Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari confirmed the news on his official twitter account.
