All development and welfare schemes are focused to improve the living standards of the people: PM




ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Monday said all development and welfare schemes are focused on improving the living standards of the people.

This, he said in a meeting with members of National Assembly Mir Dostain Khan Domki, Bilal Virk and Nawabzada Mazhar, who separately called on him in Islamabad today.

 “Parliamentarians can earn the trust of the masses through their dedication and commitment to the cause of serving the people,” the PM told the leaders.

“Major infrastructure development projects, including mass-transit systems and roads networks, have greatly facilitated the common man. Similarly, the power projects initiated by the government will end energy crisis in the country in days to come,” he said.

Moreover, the PM said the government is actively pursuing the goals of progress, prosperity, and welfare of the people.

Later, the PM was briefed on development priorities in the meeting.
