MQM Chief apologizes for terming Pakistan a cancer for the world: claims nervous tension as the reason

M. M. ALAM

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s UK-HQ-based Convener tweeted its Chief’s apology to COAS and DG Rangers.

He referred to his telephonic address on Monday to the party workers gathered at the hunger-strike camp staged to protest against detention of MQM workers in front of Karachi Press Club.

MQM Chief claimed that the utterance against the state and its organs was the result of emotional stress due to ‘extra-judicial’ arrests of workers.

Pundits at the helm of affairs had not even an iota of doubt that London-based-Chief’s  utterances (who says long live Pakistan; It’s down with Pakistan; Pakistan is the epicenter of terrorism; Pakistan is a cancer for the world…) will be used to take action against MQM.
