Annual Report of NAB presented to President Alvi

ISLAMABAD: Chairman NAB Justice (R) Javed Iqbal presented Bureau’s annual report for last year to President  Dr. Arif Alvi here today. for previous year.

He told the President that in the previous year NAB had recovered over Rs. 141 billion. NAB chief informed that 747 inquiries and 269 investigations were carried out during the last year. According to Justice (R) Javed Iqbal success rate of NAB in investigating cases remained 69 percent.

President Arif Alvi lauding the performance of NAB  held that there was a need to further strengthen the Bureau in order to eliminate the corruption from society.
