Army-bashing in Social Media: FIA identifies dozens involved in ‘organized’ campaign

M. M. ALAM

ISLAMABAD: While political parties have been accusing Government  of exploiting cyber-crime law, FIA has not only identified a large number of people involved in (what the Agency calls ) organized Army-bashing campaign, but has also taken a few into custody for grilling.

Taking notice of the pandemonium in the cyber-world after the famous taking-back of Dawnleaks related tweet, Interior Minister has asked the relevant department of FIA to act against those involved in such ‘organized’ Army-bashing campaign.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Counter-terrorism Department of FIA has been active in identifying those involved in spreading messages against Pakistan Military.
