Army chief chairs security meeting at Corps HQ Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Saturday chaired a special security meeting at Corps Headquarters in Peshawar to review progress on investigation in Charsadda attack.

According to DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Asim Bajwa, the security meeting also reviewed ongoing intelligence-based operations (IOBs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan-Afghanistan border management.

Corps Commander Peshawar, Operational Commanders, DG Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), Military Intelligence (MI) and Military Operations (MO) attended the meeting, he said.

The DG ISPR would hold a press conference shortly.
