RAWALPINDI: Commenting on the rejection of No-Confidence Resolution against PM on Sunday (3rd of April, 2022) by Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri the DG ISPR Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar said that the army was not involved in politics: “Army has nothing to do with the political process.” 

It may be recalled that following the Deputy Speaker’s ruling, President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi had dissolved the Parliament on the advice of PM Imran Khan. Following that Opposition went to the judiciary demanding a review of the Deputy Speaker’s ruling terming it unconstitutional.
