Arshad Sharif’s Murder Case: SC adjourns hearing

ISLAMABAD: A five-member bench of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial has adjourned the hearing of suo motu case regarding Journalist Arshad Sharif’s murder till Thursday (8th of December, 2022).

During the hearing today, SC directed to include independent, capable and senior officers in the special investigation team for probe into the murder of the senior journalist Arshad Sharif.

The court directed the Foreign Office to assist the team in its investigation and collection of evidence abroad.

It said that help of international agencies including the UN should be sought for investigation into the incident.
