KABUL: At least ten people have been killed in a suicide attack near the Kabul province of Afghanistan on Wednesday, security sources said.
According to the interior ministry, a suicide bomber blew himself near a vehicle carrying court employees in the Paghman district of Kabul.
“At least 10 people were killed and several others injured in the deadly attack,” ministry spokesman Najib Danish said.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
The blast came after the Taliban confirmed former Taliban Chief Mullah Akhtar Mansour’s death in a US drone strike on Saturday. They also announced the appointment of Haibatullah Akhundzada as their new leader.
