ATC orders to seize Imran Khan, Tahir ul Qadri’s assets

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) here has ordered authorities to seize properties belonging to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Tahir ul Qadri after ignorance of court orders.

The two political stalwarts repeatedly failed to appear in hearings of terrorism cases registered against them. The ATC also issued notices to this effect to the relevant police stations and revenue boards.

Earlier on February 3, Khan and Qadri were issued court orders to appear before the ATC in a case related to an attack on a senior police officer during the 2014 dharna which paralysed the federal capital.
