ISLAMABAD: On the direction of the CJP the Wazirabad Police has registered FIR nominating the self-confessed gunman on Monday (7th of November, 2022).

It is pertinent to mention here that CJP on Monday (7th of Nov, 2022) had directed the IGP to get the FIR registered within 24 hours otherwise the court would take sou moto notice.

FIR, that has been sealed, will be presented to the CJP on Tuesday (8th of October, 2022).

The gunman (identified as Muhammad Naveed s/o Muhammad Bashir had fired a burst (by means of an automatic weapon) at Imran Khan’s (20-feet-high) container when it reached the Allah Wala Chowk in Wazirabad.
