LONDON: In a latest study, it has been pointed out that people who cook and wrap their foods with the help of tinfoil are more prone to have health troubles.

The study further held that this might be because metal from the foil can get into the foodstuff and when we consume such food, it could harm our lives and health.

The study author Ghada Bassioni from the Ain Shams University, Cairo noted: “My research found that the migration of aluminum into food during the cooking process of food wrapped in aluminum foil is above the permissible limit set by the World Health Organization (WHO).”

Containers and pots are too lined by means of aluminum but these tend to be oxidized. They have a coating that put off aluminum locating its way into the food, she added.

Bassioni further held in the study published in The Conversation: “My research found that the migration of aluminum into food during the cooking process of food wrapped in aluminum foil is above the permissible limit set by the WHO.”

Previously too it has been discovered that extreme aluminum consumption could lessen the expansion of intellect cells. Furthermore, it also leads individuals to bone effecting ailments.

It has also been found out that there is an association between intake of aluminum, osteoporosis and kidney failure.

At present, investigators are finding the bond amid Alzheimer’s patients and high levels of aluminum discovered in their brain tissue.
