Ayaz Amir Discharged by District & Sessions Court

ISLAMABAD: A District and Sessions Court, observing that there was no evidence against him, discharged Ayaz Amir on Tuesday (27th of September, 2022) from murder of his daughter-in-law Sarah Inam.

The court rejected the request made by Police to extend Ayaz Amir’s physical remand by 5 days. It may be recalled that renowned journalist Ayaz Amir was arrested on Saturday (24th of September, 2022) for his alleged connivance in the murder of Sarah Inam, who happens to be a Canadian national.

His son Shahnawaz Amir allegedly killed his wife at a farmhouse in the Shahzad Town area of the Capital.
