Ayaz Sadiq conducts voting on No-Confidence Motion against PM

ISLAMABAD: As Asad Qaiser and Qasim Suri resigned from their posts of Speaker and Deputy Speaker instead of conducting the voting on No-Confidence Motion against PM, Panel of the Chairman’s Ayaz Sadiq assumed the role of Speaker a little before midnight. 

The process of voting started few minutes before midnight with Ayaz Sadiq in the Chair. As the date changed Speaker adjourned the session for few minutes.

In the no-confidence motion taken up on 9th of April and ended on 10th of April, 2022 Opposition succeeded in bagging  174 votes.
