B-town Grapevine: Hindi Medium to have a sequel but Saba won’t be a part!

New Delhi: Some months back our sources reported that the sequel of Hindi medium is on the cards. However, it was not decided whether the film will have Saba or not.

Now, what sources privy to Newspakistan.tv have discovered must be a bad news for the Baaghi actress!

It has been learnt that this time, filmmakers would not want to cast Saba due to some unknown reasons. However, Irrfan will be seen as the same Raj Batra in the upcoming venture.

Well it really seems as if political clash between the borders has successfully managed to influence entertainment side as well!

At the moment, producer Dinesh Vijan is working on the narrative of the flick. Talking about the story, a source closed to the productions stated, “The story flash-forwards by a decade so five-year-old Pia will be in her teens now, around 15-16 years. The story will be a fresh take on the Indian educational system with little reference to the original.”

It is pertinent to mention here that Hindi Medium, starring Pakistani beauty Saba Qamar and Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, went to the top of the chart. Not to mention that it claimed two awards (Best Film and Best Actor For Irrfan Khan) at 63rd Filmfare Awards.
